    Double R   This was a commission for  a wedding present , a gift that had meaning and symbolism. I decided to title it "Double R" because the bride and bridegroom share the same initial , the queen and king represent that they are the rulers in the kingdom of love, it is relatively small painting , i chose this format because it is easy to place anywhere , it had 130cm of height by 30 cm wide. It is mixed medium on canvas ,I have pasted a hand written letter form the 1930`s . Years ago I was given a bunch of letters writtrn between brother and sister , they are full of love nad tenderness betwwen both , these letters have a positive energy that has endured nearly a hundred years , so these letters represent loyalty , which for me is one the most important qualities in a realionship.

    Fanny Price is one of my Humans, I have decided to create a series on my  Humans , this is inspired by HONEY , which is one of my favourite daily views .Jane Austen a keen observer of human nature       Fanny Price Is   a character in Mansfield Park a novel by Jane Austen , it is a social satire. There is a section of the book in which Fanny disapproves of and refuses to participate in a play that her cousins and neighbors are putting on at home for their own amusement. For this part of the story to make the least bit of sense to a modern reader, one needs to understand that this particular choice of home theatricals would be the modern equivalent of a group of teenagers voting to have a wild, high-risk party in their strict parent's house while said parent was out of town. Despite Fanny's balking at participating in said wild party, we cannot quite dismiss her as a buzz-killing Miss Perfect. After all, she is eate...
