F1/25 72,8x52,4cm  2025  In this watercolour, I let myself be guided by the gentle gesture of water and the vibration of stains. The figure emerges from a play of transparencies and overlaps, between dense blues and softer oranges, almost breathing. There is something of rest here — a body that settles, folds into itself, perhaps listening. I like to think of this work as a study of intimacy, where silence takes shape and emotions dissolve into the paper. I love painting in watercolour — it's a medium that never ceases to surprise me. There’s something deeply meditative about the waiting: the pause between each layer as it dries, giving time for reflection and anticipation. I’m drawn to its transparency, the way colours remain luminous and vibrant, allowing light to pass through and bring the work to life. Each brushstroke feels both intentional and unpredictable — watercolour has a life of its own, and part of the joy is surrendering to that, letting it lead the way.

The Lionesses Crossing  Oil and dry pastel on canvas  78 inches x 39 inches 2017   People say when a woman is fierce, be careful she is a lioness. Nature has turned the lioness into a symbol of motherhood, protection, perseverance and courage, the lioness fights, hunts and ultimately always wins her prize, she loves and protects, she crosses the savannah with a portly stride, secure and majestic, she is alive . In life all paths are choices, all alternatives are risks, most times we ponder which route to take, the safest one, the one that offers the unknown, do we dare? This painting “The Lionesses   crossing “ is about these choices , these crossings I am trying to show that options are brave and it takes courage to change .

Stevenson was born in Scotland in the century XIV,   he was endowed with a literary gift. Sadly, like so many in his time , he died too soon, too young, with many adventures to live. But among his testimonies, Stevenson due to his weak health, travelled often   and he describes his travels: trips to distant places, trips of self discovery, his travels were also within oneself . Non stop voyage "Non stop voyage" 100x200cm Mixed on canvas ”Non stop voyage" is the title of this painting, but it isn`t   a journey without interruptions, alias in this I represent many pauses, many turning times, many crossroads, the stops are not fixed,   they are fluid, flexible and busy. In my paintings I represent and tell personal stories, these stories can be only a moment, do not need to have physical movement, displacement of the body, we can be quiet and in a second everything happens inside us. One of the voyage’s that I represent in this painting   is the life of A`Si, a Macanese boy born into a large family who lived in a reed boat, A'Si was given to the Captain of a Portuguese ship, a better future was the what   the boy's parents wanted.
